Concept: Work with the sites exposed dry soil by selecting plants that thrive in those conditions

Status: Planted Spring 2025

Situated in an exposed position to wind and sun, this is a dry area that gets thr brunt of our summer water shortgages. Therefore, the plants chosen for this scheme had to be suited to said conditions.

Plants from Mediterranean and rocky parts of the world were selected, and the hope is they will sllf seed into to create a lovely tapestry of colour - demonstrated in the visual.

Stand out plants are Chives, Foxtail Lillies (Eremurus) Feather Grass (Stipa) and Salvias.
